Skiing
Tucked away in our own backyard in Concord Township, Big Creek Ski Area is one of Ohio's highest and snowiest points. Visitors can visit the private ski area, hike the club's varied ski terrain and enjoy snacks in the cozy chalet.
Stop by to learn more about one of Lake County's hidden treasures and how to obtain a pass for the upcoming ski season.
Owned by members of the Cleveland Ski Club, Big Creek Ski Area is family oriented with 5 slopes from beginner to difficult, 2 lifts, plenty of snowmaking as well as a cozy chalet and free ski lessons for children. The ski area gets nearly twice as much snow as lower elevations such as Cleveland. In fact, the club averages 103" of snow per year.
For more information, please contact: Lisa Lottes- lisa@lottes.net or visit their website: www.bigcreekski.org
Please Note:
Many times the Township is not made aware of newly formed teams, and therefore cannot assist residents' inquiries relating to them when a call is made to Town Hall.
We request that any information regarding teams, leagues, etc., not mentioned above, be forwarded by calling 354-7500, or by emailing to: lnick@concordtwp.com
