Trustees

Three Township Trustees and a Township Fiscal Officer are elected to four-year terms in nonpartisan elections. Trustees are responsible for the overall administration of Township services. The Township Fiscal Officer handles all financial matters and is the keeper of all township records. Trustee meetings are held the first and third Wednesday of the month. The meetings are held in Concord Town Hall at 7229 Ravenna Road and begin at 7:30 p.m.

Caroline N. Luhta is currently serving her fifth term as Trustee. Connie is a 38-year resident of the southeast quadrant of Concord Twp. where she operates Concord Air Park which was established by her late husband, Adolph.  She represents the Township on the Community Improvement Corporation of Lake County and is a member of the Lake County Farm Bureau.

Connie has a B.A. in chemistry from Ohio Wesleyan University and a B.S. in business administration from Lake Erie College.  She volunteers at the International Women’s Air & Space Museum at Burke Lakefront Airport in Cleveland where she is president of the Board of Trustees.  Connie has one daughter, Kathy, and two stepchildren.  The family pet is a black Lab named "Betty".   You can contact Connie via email at azteclady@aol.com or by phone at (440) 352-3228

 Christopher A. Galloway is currently serving in his first term as Trustee.  Chris is senior partner with his firm Red State Strategies, LLC.  He received his B.A. from Ohio University, where he double-majored in History and Political Science. 

Prior to becoming a Trustee, Chris served on the Lake County Planning Commission as an alternate for County Commissioner Ray Sines.  In addition, Chris worked with the Citizens Advisory Committee of the Concord Comprehensive Plan update in 2003 and 2004.  He is married to Leslie and has one daughter, Brittany.  You can contact Chris via e-mail at cgalloway@concordtwp.com or by telephone at (440) 357-0263.

Paul R. Malchesky is currently serving in his first term as Trustee.  Paul is a Partner at the law firm of Cannon, Aveni, & Malchesky Co., L.P.A. in Painesville.  He grew up on Barrington Ridge in Painesville Twp., and for the past eight (8) years has lived in that same subdivision on Stratford Rd. in Concord Twp. with his wife Betty Jo and two (2) children, Emma and Dan. 

Paul is a graduate of Lake Catholic High School, Cleveland State University, and Cleveland-Marshall College of Law. He had served as a Legal Advisor for the Riverside High School Mock Trial Team;  member of the Riverside Local School District Superintendent's Business Advisory Council; served as a Lake County Grand Jury Foreman for the winter and has served as a legal advisor for several government entities.  Paul also sits as Acting Judge for Painesville Municipal Court.  You can contact Paul via e-mail at pmalchesky@csalawgroup.com   or by telephone at (440) 357-5537, Ext. 3031 or evenings at 350-4614.
